The back is satin finished white gold that has been hand carved with a flower in full bloom. The back is hinged and opens to show the reverse of the front carving of the lotus leaf.

Framing the lotus and koi are eighty-three brilliant cut diamonds decorating this tranquil aquatic scene. Diamond total weight is 0.72 carats.
